Award-winning actor and film director Clint Eastwood tells Esquire magazine that he would support Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election.
Clint Eastwood, the 86-year-old four-time Oscar winner, said the current generation of Americans are weak and overly sensitive, while backing Donald Trump even though the Republican presidential hopeful has “said a lot of dumb things.”
“He’s onto something because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up,” the acclaimed actor and director said of Trump.
“We’re really in a pussy generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells. We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist,” Eastwood added.
“He’s said a lot of dumb things. So have all of them. Both sides. But everybody – the press and everybody’s going, ‘Oh, well, that’s racist,’ and they’re making a big hoodoo out of it. Just ******* get over it. It’s a sad time in history.” Read more…
