The battle between Trump and Hillary has polarized the nation, though the political tide has started to turn a little against Hillary. A poll is regularly conducted by the Los Angeles Times – questioning over 3,000 people across the USA. It asks potential voters how much they support Trump and Hillary respectively (on a 0-100 scale).
To the surprise of many of the polls readers, Trump is now favored almost 6 points over Hillary. In fact, not only that, but Trump is even supported up to 20 points more than Hillary within certain demographics.
However, an average of national polls summarised by Real Clear Politics presents a slightly different story. The Real Clear Politics average shows that Clinton is ahead of Trump by 2.9 points.
